Preface: I know some will say this should be in the Fanfiction section, but I do not believe it so, seeing as there is no completed story yet. This is just to gather information.
Anyway, I'm thinking of writing a fan fiction using people from these forums. To use your username, I need your permission. If you want to volunteer, post in this topic with a brief description of your character. I want to use around ten people. If they give their permission, I already plan to use Hastings, Action-Hank, OkeiDo, and me. When you sign up, DON'T provide a name for your character. I will make one for you. You will be able to figure out who you are though. (ex. Ay becomes Ay Deverrick, Hastings becomes Wimbledon Hastings, OkeiDo becomes Frank OkeiDo, Action-Hank stays as is) Note that everyone, except 1 randomy selected survivor will die.
The ONLY zombie movie I've seen is Shaun of the Dead, so don't expect me to stick to the Romero zombies. I'm going to mostly model the zombies after They Hunger and Zombie Panic, though.
Also, if someone could give me a top down view of all three levels in rhs22, that would be great, as it's going to be the setting for the story.
The story is going to be short. I don't like writing volumes of story, and I don't like revisitng a story, so I'm going to sit down, crank this out, and be done with it. If there are any glaring problems you see with it (after it's done), tell me, and I'll go back and revise it (possibly).
Basic storyline: Ten (or so) friends who met at college decide to have a reunion at a friend's house. They all take flights from their respective countries (I'm sticking between France, UK, and US. If you aren't from one of those, your character will be) to the same airport and see Wimbledon Hastings (one of their friends), who takes them to U. N. Owen's house.
When they get there, they can't get in anyway except for the basement. When they get in, they find U. N. Owen's zombified self chasing after them. Throughout the story, the group of friends will die and uncover clues about what happened to U. N. Owen (but not necessarily in that order).
So...what do y'all think? I'm just going to give this a shot 'cause the idea interested me. Remember to give me a rough idea about the desired character. However, Wimbledon Hastings will be the leader of our little foray, Action Hank and Frank OkeiDo will both be really good at killing things, just like they are in ZP. So don't make your character like them. I'm just planning to be your regular, old survivor. Nothing special about me. And about only using France, UK and US, all three are gonig to be stereotyped (i.e. Americans will be trigger happy, French will run and hide and the like, and the Brits will drink tea and eat scones).
