Survivor camping in vent

If there is a survivor camping in a vent with a magnum.
Turn your back to him and move backwards against him. Also stepside at same time if possible. Then when you are close enought turn around again and slay him.
That will also prevent survivor for making headshot on every zombie and will waste his ammo, instead of one bullet per zombie it will be three bullets per zombie.

Definitely a great tactic...moderately effective against shotguns , but indeed terrific against magnums and still quite good against pistols and machineguns.

Sidestepping (standing) to reach your victim also works well against shotguns and machineguns , as it reduces your exposure to bullets.

Now we already have jumping/dodging zombies , I hope ZP games won't be full of backwards crawling and sidestepping zombies in one month :P

Isnt that kinda cheating? I know that its annoying for people to hide in the vents to live, but this gives zombies an immense advantage.

its a good tactic, sometimes while playing i get bored n run at ppl backwords when i get close enough and see if i can get them tho everyone prob already knows that tactic and is mentioned in several guides its still a help to have it out in the open of the forums as a main topic ^.^

if your in the vent you a dead man thay get in 1 way or the overe ::zombie::

Actually the human can get headshot on the zombies even if they move backwards. The human just need to aim at the zombies neck, it's a small hitpoint, but not so hard to hit.

besides, when the zombie is walking backwards at you, you can just walk around him and shoot him in the face <_< i mean, they can't see you you know...

This strategy don't work on m4 tough but it's a great way to kill shotgun vent campers.

Also on maps like slew_final, camping in the upper vent before the humans get there is effective. I've killed people with shottys and revolvers - as soon as they climb up the vent ladder I attack because they don't really expect it, so thats a easy kill.
