Im kinda of greedy as a zombie and i tend to use other zombies as a shield for myself ill follow them as best as i can so that they absorb most of the bullets for me. The only time that i will rush and act as a shield is if i and whitey and have several normal zombies behind me since i have more HP i can take more bullets and hopefully get them in close enough to cause some havoc. If you do get in to a group through these tactics make sure that you build up your berserk and then go go go eat brains.

Not really greedy, More of strategic thinker

I use this sometimes too but i try to follow behind the same charecter as mine, So when the human shoots up my "body-bag", I sprint THROUGH the zombie and attack the human. Most times the human thinks " Oh i'll just finish him off with my pistol or melle weapon " and they get nommed.

Ive also noticed that if you get 4/5 zombies and actually ball up and run in each other the damage from a group of fire seems to get distrubited very nicely among everyone and normally no zombies will die that is unless your running into a group full of rifles and shotguns .

meatshield ; I liek ot protect my children as carrier if the retreat with less than 40 hp :D ; i don'T attack if I on'T win for sure.

I like meatshields as well ; but i prefer overpushing obejcts at survis and get closer ^^

Actually, here's how the "meatshield" should work.

Regular zombies: group up & if the whitey is with you, make sure he's in the BACK. that way your superior Carrier will really put a dent in survivors, even if there's not much of you left.

Carrier: Just do vice versa. Think of it as this way: you are the Tank in L4D. Before completely bum-rushing the survivors who usually can easily outrun you, let the lesser special infected cause a distraction-- you're much better versus a panicked group of survivors than a calm & ready one.

This works real well on maps like Redqueen when you have long corridors and douchebags run back for ammo or something. Just do the zig zag pattern and use the zombies in front as meat shields to get closer. The longer the hallway the more zombies needed for you to reach them.

well if you have a zombie train vs a zombie wall theres a few pros and cons
train pro- makes them scared they might run for themselve leaving others to die
train con- get a decent ak and he can mow you down most likely.

wall pro- they cant escape as well and is alot easier then train cause u dont gotta worry if some zombie might die or if he starts jumpin around
wall con- if one zombie dies they can escape sorta
