Alright, I'm sure this is just a problem with MY computer but maybe SOMEONE can help.
I just downloaded ZP into my SteamApps.
I go to join/play ZP only to be directed to the 'Third Party Games' browser.
Does anyone know why?
Did I download it wrong and if so what should I do?

it goes in the HL folder of steamapps, not just the steamapps. and you do have HL1 correct?

Sometimes you need to wait a little longer than 12 minutes before you get an answer <_<
Anyway, you installed it in steam/steamapps? The correct path would be steam/steamapps/email@host.com/half-life

yeah and if you did that you also need to either restart steam or play the game once for it to appear on the menu

Hello all, i am a complete noob to the HL series and i recently bought HL2.(absolutley love the game btw :D )
I've read above what you've said in this thread so just to confirm i need to go buy HL to play the ZP mod and all the other mods i've seen in the "steam browse games" list ?? Also is there anychance you could give me a list of what mod files and patches i need to get me started on ZP. This mod sounds well cool.
Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks skellen aka Nick.

To play ZP, you need Steam, Half-Life 1 and the ZP files. The dev team will be porting to Source (Half-Life 2's engine) as soon as possible though, so you can either just wait or buy Half-Life 1 (it's a pretty good game, though old).

I've seen retail copies of HL in the stores for about 5 euros.
