Zombie CYOA

[Sole Survivor]

OK, I've seen a few of these done before, so I thought I might as well try my own. This is a CYOA (choose your own adventure) where I post a scenario and then three or four available options, and then you vote on it. After a couple of votes, I'll follow the majority rule's choice and post a second part of the story, etc, etc.

You are Ben, a twenty three year old programmer for a massive corporation. You live in a large, urban city with a variety of buildings, from small apartment buildings to massive skyscrapers. You awake lying on the floor of the men's restroom in a fast food restaurant. Climbing to your feet, you examine yourself in the mirror, noticing several lacerations on your body, and a streak of dried blood running down the side of your forehead. Your head is pounding, and can't seem to remember how you got here. Not only are you cut up pretty badly, your headache won't subside.

You open the door and walk into the main part of the restaurant that is very disheveled; tables are overturned and chairs are knocked over. You see the figure of a single man standing completely still, his back facing towards you. It takes a few moments to notice that in his hand is a dismembered arm.

A.) Head straight for the exit, alerting the man to your presence as you do so.

B.) Make your way into the kitchen, avoiding the detection of the man as you sneak around for a back exit.

C.) Arm yourself with a chair as you attack the man, shouting a few expletives to inflict fear upon this evil doer as you promptly "open up a can."

first of all, looks pretty cool.

Second, where did the dismembered arm come from? Is it just a dismembered arm rather than the dismembered arm.

B as well, do the smart thing and arm yourself with a better weapon, like a cleaver. Then find the back exit to avoid any unneeded contact.

B.)

You bite your lip as you assess the situation; the man is a murderer, and there are no other living people in this building. Logically, you decide the best course of action is to sneak out and call for help. As you slip behind the counter and past the door into the kitchen, you notice a lengthy, smooth-edged kitchen knife and take it for good measure. Emerging into the alleyway of the city, you find yourself in front of the restaurant.

In front of you is a three car pile up, with your car smashed and destroyed in between the two other vehicles. After examining the wreckage thoroughly, you notice the man from the restaurant stumbling towards you, hands outstretched aggressively and his jaw slacked to the side. His skin is grayish, without pigment and his stare is completely blank. His shirt is drenched in blood.

A.) Attempt to reason with the man, and evade him as he drunkenly pursues you, ready to defend yourself if need be...

B.) Throw the knife at him, right towards the head. After all, you were the darts champ among your co-workers...

C.) Drop the knife, and grab the bumper from the wreckage behind you. Blunt objects usually can be more effective, and have greater distance, of course.

D.) Make a run for it, possibly screaming like a girl as you urinate in your panties.
