You just added a bunch of cuts and connects and extrusions and scaled it probably to cover your trail, next time make your own stuff thief.

btw, first post was a ploy to make you post the wire frames.

Yes, when I posted the download link I asked for a uvs not for someone to steal my work and make it worse by adding useless crap and calling it their own.

Okay guys, cool it. Now.

The models look very different to me, the proportions on the curvature are different, and the lengths of the barrel. Also his stock has *WAY* more detail than yours, zero (To the point that he may be over budget, I have no idea offhand though).

Anyway if the gun has beveling on the pump, whoopedy doo. Chances are, if someone makes a shotgun model of a similar shotgun, his pump may look similar. It's a cylinder with some grip. I mean really.

(Disclaimer: I am a modeling noob, so if something else makes it apparent that this was straight up copied, then I'll retract my statement. But this seems a bit ridiculous.)

Barrels are different, but the receiver and pump are mine all he did was ring the lines and connect them and then move them around to add extra curvature, what really gave it away was this.

That part I actually messed up on and didn't follow the reference picture, and pretty much half assed it since it was never gonna be seem ingame, I'm pretty sure those are mine.

Edit: and he also scaled the model.

Okay seriously now, I'm no modeler so I'm not sure if he ripped your parts Z3RO. The parts your pointed out look very similar sure but we can't be certain, maybe he just had yours as a reference or made the same mistake your mentioned you did. God knows.

All I know is, don't release your max files in the future and this wont happen. And no need to yell (Capslock) and swear. Keep it civil and don't flame eachother.

I say we drop this now, Bobster can continue with his Shotgun and Z3RO can work on his stuff.

Alright, I just don't like others taking my work for their own, if he had used my model as a reference and credited me I wouldn't have cared, but I'm done.

Neither of you post another thing until we get a dev modeler in here to give his opinion. I don't care who is right at this point, from an outsider's view it looks like the two of you are arguing about how similar your models OF THE SAME GUN are. I mean really. The stuff you circled just looks the same to me, but from his other angle pics they look *exactly* like the gun as well. So I don't see the issue, and nobody else can either who doesn't know this crap.

You obviously aren't getting anywhere with this argument, so we'll pull a dev in to see what the fuss is about, and then apologies can go out.

Talked to our art director about this (Tats), and he agrees with me that the differences are just too many to really come out and say "yeah, the guy is a thief". So I'm leaving this locked.

Bobster, if you want to update the post with a download link or whatever, let me know and I'll edit first post with it.
